The War On Women – a history comic!
Thursday, March 8th, 2012 by Matt BorsHere’s a comic I did with Sarah Mirk for the Portland Mercury‘s Sex Issue on Portland’s connection to the war on women’s reproductive rights.
Mirk is a journalist who recently released Oregon History Comics, a set of ten mini comics focusing on little-known aspects of the state’s history, such as Portland’s Black Panthers
and the Vanport Flood. Each one is illustrated by a different Portland cartoonist.
I think they are, well, here’s my blurb: “Informative, engaging, and funny — Oregon History Comics are comics done right and history even better.”
